6-7pm Anatomy of Coronavirus

This piece is about a local matron working in the Covid 19 pandemic who contracted the virus on 18th March 2020 just before lockdown.

She spent three weeks on ICU in Bradford, at times very close to death. Her consultant did not think she would survive.

This is her story, told through the voices of her dad, her niece, her boss, her friends and Neil the dog man who takes care of her dog Marley.

It is a lockdown piece recorded at 2 metres in gardens and put together in an attic not a studio.
Made by Claire Kearns and Lorna Kook with support from Westone Music.
