Richard Joyce's The Locker Room with Jon Palmer

16 May 2013 by RichardJoyce

The Gloucestershire Echo’s chief football writer Jon Palmer returned to The Locker Room to review another season in the Football League for Cheltenham Town which saw the Robins comes close again to achieving promotion.

The counties premier football club also reached the third round of the FA Cup and Palmer, who has scribed two books on the Robins, delivered his reaction on a campaign which saw CTFC miss out in the semi-finals against Northampton.

He touched on everything from the end of season movements with the comings and goings at Whaddon Road while also looked back at the League 2 campaign for the whole of the division with the play off final between Bradford and the Cobblers this weekend.

There’s also his thoughts on Gloucester City’s groundshare at Whaddon Road, the next season for the Robins in League Two and much more in a packed hour of Cheltenham Town chat.

There’s also the latest local football news featuring Forest Green Rovers transfer movements as Andy Mangan returned to the Nailsworth club.
